While it doesn't directly upgrade Scrappy, it indirectly supports his growth by keeping you in raids longer, allowing you to farm the materials needed for his upgrades more efficiently.
Scrappy's upgrades rely heavily on fruits like lemons, apricots, and prickly pears-exactly the ingredients needed to craft Fruit Mix. By mastering Fruit Mix crafting, you kill two birds with one stone: you get a reliable survival item and ensure a steady supply of the fruits Scrappy needs to level up.
Additionally, Fruit Mix can be sold for 1800 coins if you have excess, providing extra currency to purchase other materials for Scrappy's upgrades, such as dog collars or cat beds.
Fruit Mix Ingredients: What You Need to Gather
Crafting Fruit Mix requires three specific fruits, all of which are found in natural areas across ARC Raiders' maps. Unlike basic materials like metal or fabric, these fruits only spawn on specific plants, so knowing where to look is key. Here's what you need:

The best location to find lemons is the swamp areas of Dam Battlegrounds, where fruit trees are abundant. On the Spaceport map, check the staff parking area for lemon trees-they're easy to spot among the open terrain.
2. Apricots
Apricots are another essential Fruit Mix ingredient, and they're even more critical for Scrappy's progression: you'll need 15 apricots total to upgrade him to Level 5 (Master Hoarder), his maximum level. Like lemons, apricots grow on small fruit trees.
Dam Battlegrounds' swamp regions and forest edges are the most reliable spots for apricots. Look for trees with buy ARCR Items visible fruit hanging from their branches, and check the ground beneath them-fallen apricots are often ready to collect without interacting with the tree.
3. Prickly Pears
Prickly pears are the third ingredient for Fruit Mix and are required for Scrappy's Level 4 (Treasure Hunter) upgrade. Unlike lemons and apricots, they grow near cacti, making them easier to distinguish but sometimes harder to spot.
